Dr. Racheal Hamel was born in Maine but moved to New Mexico where she grew up and attended undergraduate school. Racheal completed a Bachelor of Microbiology with a minor in Public Health at New Mexico State University. She then moved to Kansas City to earn her doctorate of dental surgery at The University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry.
She is worked in both the public sector and in private practice. She is a member of the ADA, KDA and Northern Kentucky Dental Society.
From her experience in treating a broad range of patients, Racheal has a particularly strong interest in preventative dentistry and promoting oral health within the community. She has a strong desire to continuously learn new techniques by participating in programs that increase her knowledge and abilities. Dental techniques and technology are constantly changing, and Racheal strives to offer advanced, quality dentistry.
Her calm and gentle nature creates a relaxed dental environment for her patients, especially in patient’s who have dental anxiety. She spends time to educate her patients, informing them of their dental needs and ensuring both the patient and herself fabricate a treatment plan with the best plan of action for that individual person. She values esthetics and strives for a pleasing result but not at the cost of function and longevity. She enjoys all aspects of general and aesthetic dentistry.
Racheal moved to northern Kentucky ten years ago to raise her family. When she is not treating patients in the office, she is spending time with her three children or two fur-babies, Clark and Tucker. She enjoys baking, traveling, and considers herself a “foodie”.
