Dental Assistant

Job Description:
• Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
• Assist dentists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments and ensure each patient’s mouth is comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
• Perform administrative duties such as greeting patients, setting up appointments for dental visits, and ordering dental supplies.
• Provide postoperative instructions to patients so they are informed about how to care for their teeth and gums after procedures to prevent infection
• Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental history.

Requirements:
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and supported dental office team members
• Organizational skills, multitasking, interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly
• Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of dentistry and dental procedures 1 year experience is a must.

Front Office Coordinator
Join our Successful Dental Practice as a Front Office Coordinator, Palmer Dentistry
is looking for responsible, determined Front Office Coordinator to join our dental team. The Front Office Coordinator will handle various administrative tasks, and will be a big part in communicating effectively with our patients. Our dental office is committed to providing comprehensive dental therapy, for adults in a warm caring environment. We work together as a TEAM.

Job Description:
The Front Office Coordinator will maintain and organize all administrative functions in the front office, including reception tasks – Answer and handle all New Patient incoming calls, proper patient scheduling, manage recare and unscheduled treatment, respond quickly and efficiently to all patient concerns while coordinating all parties to be involved, stuffing envelopes and sending statements out daily/monthly, Call on patient insurance coverage, review schedule and medical history updates, scan patients charts as needed, submitting insurance.

• Organizational skills

• Customer service skills is a must
